Volleyball Places Second in Hot Dog Invite

The volleyball team placed second at the Hot Dog Invite on Saturday by defeating Carroll and Benton Central. They dropped a close second match to Madison Grant 1-2. Riley Isgrigg led the balanced offense with 65 assists, while Kimee Kingma, Chloe Roberts, and Ashley Timmons all contributed 17 kills a piece. Emily Michael had 19 kills, and Allyson Timmons chipped in 6 kills and 2 solo blocks. Madison Toney had 35 digs and 4 aces for the day, and Avery Drew had 6 aces and 37 digs. Jenna Rockhold had 4 digs and 3 aces.

The JV played well but couldn’t close a match. Leading the way was Lindsey Gay with 20 assists and 5 kills. Kylie Norman had 7 kills and 4 aces, and Sydney Pearcy had 6 kills. Grace Campbell continued to serve tough with 4 aces, and Mallory Martin added 5 kills. Yazmin Hernandez is finding her stride as libero with 35 digs and Ingrid Valdes had 4 aces. Katherine Barrera had 5 digs, Tori Hopkins had 4 digs, and Gabby Schuster added 4 digs for the day.
