The volleyball team hosted Danville Thursday evening in their final home match. The team has been raising money to benefit the family of Daniel Olivas, an 8th grader at FMS battling Ewing Sarcoma. A special thanks goes out to everyone who made donations, ordered t-shirts, or purchased a wrist band. $350 was raised at the match alone due to the help of the Frankfort and Danville fans.

In JV action, the girls played at the highest level they have all season in game one, but fell short, dropping the match 0-2. Leading the team was Lindsey Gay with 6 assists, 10 digs, and 2 kills. Yazmin Hernandez played tough with 4 kills and 9 digs. Kylie Norman added 2 kills and 5 digs, and Ingrid Valdez had a kill and a block. Katherine Barrera had a season high of 6 digs, and Grace Campbell also had 5 digs. Skiila Robey had one ace.

For the varsity, Avery Drew led the way with 21 digs. Ashley Timmons added 8 kills, and Chloe Roberts had 4 kills and 8 digs. Emily Michael had 6 kills, Kimee Kingma had 4 kills, and Riley Isgrigg had 21 assists. Ally Timmons continues to be a presence at the net with 3 blocks, and Madison Toney had 7 digs. Lindsey Gay and Jenna Rockhold both came in with service runs for the team and each had two digs.
