On Saturday, the lady hot dog basketball team traveled to Tipton to take on a very good team for the first game of the season.  The first quarter showed a lot of promise.  Emily Michael started the game off with a 3 point shot from the right wing, and the season started on a good note.  Rylee Seibert led the charge the rest of the 1st quarter scoring 8 points of her team high 20 for the game.  Unfortunately, the dogs went cold from the field and Tipton continued the hot shooting.  After a strong shooting start of 15 points in the 1st quarter, the team could only manage 22 more points for the game.  We had 3 freshman get their first look at varsity action and they all played well.  We are back in action Tuesday evening at West Lafayette, with a 6pm JV start.

Scoring: Seibert 20 Sandoval 6 Michael 3 King 3 Alanis 2 Gay 2 Kingma 1
