Girls Junior Varsity Soccer, Girls Varsity Soccer · Hot Dogs lose 0 – 3

The Lady Hot Dogs were defeated 0 – 3 at Lebanon on Wednesday night pushing their record to 5-6-1 and 1 – 3 in conference. The Lady Hot Dogs created multiple opportunities, but were unable to finish their chances. Overall, Coach Hines thinks the team played one of their best games against a strong team, but made a few costly errors allowing Lebanon to score. Lebanon scored two first half goals in the 13th and 29th minutes of the 1st half. Lebanon came out of halftime quickly scoring their final goal 1 minute into the 2nd half. The Dogs held them scoreless the rest of the game anchored on defense by Yesi Alanis, Jenny Lopez, and goalkeeper Noemi Guijosa. Ale Cruz, Flor Lopez, & Beatriz Balderas did a great job creating opportunities to score throughout the game. The Lady Hot Dogs travel to Tri-West on Saturday for another conference matchup.

The JV team was defeated 0 – 6 by Lebanon. Due to multiple injuries during the game, players did a great job playing in different positions to help the team. Tania Lopez, Rosa Hernandez, & Selena Santos played well for the Dogs. The Lady Hot Dogs also travel to Tri-West on Saturday.
