Multiple Teams · Hot Dogs Fall to Western in Heartbreaking Five Game Match

The volleyball team lost a heartbreaking five game match to Western Wednesday night. The teams went back and forth: Western took sets one and three while the Hot Dogs took two and four. After a slow start in game five, the girls rallied from a 4-8 deficit to nearly tie at 9-10. Western took the next four points before the dogs rallied back to bring the score to 13-14. Western took game five, 13-15. The team travels to West Lafayette Thursday evening.

Katy Benefiel added a kill and an ace, while Jalynn Kidwell led the team in kills with 4. Maddie Toney had 3 digs and 3 kills, and Yazmin Hernandez added 5 digs. Logan Tillman added 2 kills.
