Multiple Teams · Volleyball Plays Tough at Tipton

The volleyball team fell to Tipton tonight 1-3 despite putting forth a solid performance from the entire team. All four games were tight with pressure on both sides of the net to close out close ones: 26-24, 25-27, 23-25, 21-25. Leading for the team was Riley Isgrigg with a personal best of 42 assists, 6 kills, 3 aces, 1 solo block, and 21 digs. Casey Robertson led the attack with 19 kills and 3 aces. Emily Michael also had a personal best tonight with 14 kills; she also added 19 digs. Carson Hackerd had 5 kills, 16 digs, and an ace. Kimee Kingma had 3 kills and a solo block. Chloe Roberts had 5 kills and a block assist. Avery Drew had a personal best of 34 digs and 4 aces. Last but certainly not least was Maddie Toney who was 11/11 from the service line with 9 digs.

The JV also fell to Tipton this evening. Jalynn Kidwell led the team with 3 assists, a kill, and 4 digs. Jenna Rockhold added 5 digs and an ace. Katy Benefiel had 4 digs and a kill, and Yazmin Hernandez had one kill. Making their Hot Dog Volleyball debut this evening was Miriam and Coco who have been a fun addition to the team as our exchange students from Germany.
