The Frankfort Girls basketball team opened up the 2016-17 season with a loss to the Tipton Blue Devils Saturday night 53-35. Last nights game had many new faces to the varsity program. For the first game of the season, the girls had a slow start, which set the tone for the game. One thing the coaching staff was very proud of, was the fact, the girls never gave up and played to the buzzer. Leading the way for the Hot Dogs was sophomore Rylee Seibert. She finished with a game high 18 points and 12 rebounds. Other players in the scoring column was Emily Michael with 6, Kya King and Natalie Kelly with 5 each. We will host West Lafayette Tuesday night in Case Arena for the second game of the season. JV will tip at 6 and Varsity at 7:30.
