Multiple Teams · Dogs lose at Western

The lady hot dogs took on the Western Panthers Saturday night.  This games score does not reflect the amount of opportunities the team had to be competitive in this game.  The offense worked but the shots did not fall.  Emily Michael led the team in scoring with 13 points.  Defensively the Hot Dogs played very well including Rylee Seibert, but with some unfortunate rolls the panthers got off to a quick start and never looked back. I was proud of the way the team played with our offense.  The girls did a great job of finding the open player against their zone and just could not score.  In the first half, the girls did an outstanding job against their zone press and ran the transition well.  We will work hard in practice on Monday and get ready for a long week at the JC Hoops Classic all week at McCutcheon.  Open up against Harrison on Tuesday night at 6pm.
