Multiple Teams · Hot Dogs look to improve

On Thursday night, the hot dogs took on Twin Lakes in the 2nd round of the JC Hoops Classic 28-71.  The focus of practice and the game was to take care of the ball under pressure.  The lady hot dogs did just that in the first half and had an offensive boost in the 2nd quarter and were down just 7 with a few minutes left in the first half.  The 2nd half was a different story for the offense.  Cold shooting led to an increased lead for Twin Lakes and pushed the game out of reach.  Emily Micheal had 8 points and Rylee Seibert with 8 points and 7 rebounds.  First game back for Kimee Kingma and he scored 6 points and 9 rebounds.  The dogs will be back in action for the final game of the classic on Saturday at 2pm vs Lafayette Central Catholic.
