Multiple Teams · Slow start too much for the Dogs

On Tuesday evening, the lady hot dogs traveled to Tri Central to take on a very good Trojan team.  A slow start once again is the theme early in the ball game.  Defense is what kept us in the ball game early.  After not scoring in the first quarter, our defense held the trojans to only 11 first quarter points.  The big difference in the game was the 3 point shooting from Tri Central.  In the second half, the dogs came out more aggressive on offense and defense, which created plenty of scoring opportunities.  Leading the Hot Dogs in scoring was Emily Michael with 10, and Kimee Kingma with 7.  The final score was 62-34.  The dogs start county play Thursday when we travel to Clinton Central for a 6pm varsity only ball game.
