On Tuesday evening, the Hot Dogs played host to the Danville Warriors. Danville stayed undefeated in conference play with a 79-29 win. Avery Drew and Kyree Shelley both made their first starts of the season. The first quarter was the difference maker for the game with the score of 26-3. The hot dogs just could not get the offense going and that led to easy baskets for the warriors. The cold shooting continued in the second quarter as well, but not without getting really good looks at the basket. The offense gave the dogs open looks but just couldn’t knock them down. The third quarter, the dogs made good adjustments on the offensive side and got some shots to fall. Emily Michael led the attack with two 3 pointers in the quarter. Leading scorers for the hot dogs were Emily Michael with 10 points. Raina Keller and Kimee Kingma had 6 apiece. Rylee Seibert had 5. Next game will be January 3rd at Clinton Prairie. Jv tip off at 6pm.
