Multiple Teams · Boys BB wins again

“Frankfort won a nail biter last night against the Northwestern Tigers 70-66. The hot dogs came out on fire in the first quarter scoring 23 points to Northwestern 13. Leading by ten the majority of the first half Northwestern hit a big shot at the buzzer to bring them within 7 at half time. The Hot Dogs continued to battle going into the second half, even losing the lead at one point and trailing by a few points. Frankfort did not get flustered but fought back to get the lead and continued to grow it through tough defense and good shots. The Hot Dogs finished the game with a great steal by Oscar Conde with 30 seconds to go.

It was a great team effort by the Hot Dogs as everyone who stepped on the floor not only did their job, but did it well. Leading scorers for the game were Carter Taylor with 26, Alex Siegfried with 21, and Malik King with 21. The Dogs will travel to the conference school of Southmont Saturday evening to take on the Mounties.” – Coach Catron
