Multiple Teams · Hot Dogs struggle in opening round

On Tuesday evening, the lady hot dogs opened the Franciscan Hoops Classic with a rematch from last Tuesday, the West Lafayette Red Devils.  The problem with unforced errors continue to plague any offensive flow the hot dogs try to gather.  The ladies did a great job in where they need to be to get open shots but it is a real struggle to get people the ball into open areas.  The second quarter was the solid bounce back opportunity the hot dogs needed with 6 points from Nallely Alanis and also turning things up defensively.  Nallelly and Kya King played hard and worked for multiple deflections and loose balls.  The lady hot dogs will be back at Harrison Thursday evening to play the host school of the tournament, the Harrison Raiders.  The raiders lost to Lafayette Jeff 50-58.  Our game will tip at 6pm.

Scoring: Kingma 10, Alanis 8, Michael 5, King 3, Seibert 2
