Boys Junior Varsity Baseball, Boys Varsity Baseball · JV Baseball Thrashes Lebanon

JV Baseball took on Lebanon last night and managed back to back big wins with a 23-9 victory over the Tigers, after a 20-19 victory over West Lafayette Monday night.

Lots of hits for the JV Dogs with Jimmy Ostler, Hugo Alanis (3), Cole  Wills, Ethan Stinson, Chase Thomas and Yunior Hernandez all collecting multiple hits on the night. Also, contributing to the scoring barrage was Gabe Chavez with 3 RBIs and Max Moudy with 2 RBIs.
On the mound, Adrick Mounts started off the game strong and only some shaky defense during the Lebanon 5th inning caused the Hot Dog starter to lose his shutout. Ethan came on in relief to pitch the final 2 innings and earn the Dogs back to back wins.
The win brings their season record to 5-5.
