Varsity Cheerleading · FHS Competition Cheer Claims 3rd Place at State Fair


The Frankfort High School Competition Cheerleading Squad participated in the Indiana State Fair this past Saturday.   The Preliminary round began at 12:45 pm with Frankfort advancing to the Finals along with Greenwood, Warren Central, Illiana Christian, and Wawasee.   The Finals were held at 6:20 pm with Frankfort leading off the group.  Greenwood took home with championship, Warren Central placed second and Frankfort finished in third place.

Frankfort’s routine in the Finals was solid and the girls did a great job of making adjustments from the earlier performance during the preliminaries.  They represented Frankfort High School with dignity, character and class.  Coach Palmer was extremely happy with their efforts and the work that they put in during practices to make their routine a success.

The squad will compete in the IASP State Cheer Championships and the Time-Out Division Championships on November 2 and 9.

Competition Squad members are Seniors Kileigh Adams-Long, Lily Cervantez, Madi Myers, Mallory Woods, Escarlet Zuniga.  Juniors Anna Drew, Ingrid Guijosa Valdes, Peyton Myers, Gabby Navarro Cervantez, Jessie Ramos, and Brinzlee Sallee.  Sophomores Dani Arnold, Kiana Cervantez, Joci Compton, and Karim Quinones.  Freshmen Maicee Sterrett and Carleigh Williams.
