Multiple Teams · Tough Night for FMS Athletics

The night started off rough for the Frankfort Middle School teams.  Both the girls and boys soccer matches were canceled due to weather at Tecumseh.  This game may be made up.   Look for details at a later time.

The boys tennis team traveled to South Montgomery where they were defeated 0 – 5.  Eli Grasham played very overall in the #1 singles spot, but lost 5 – 8.  Jake Swinford at #2 singles and Jack Michael at #3 singles fought very hard in their matches.

The boys and girls cross country teams traveled to Northridge for a three-way meet with Tri-West and Northridge.  Leading the Dogs were Christopher Angeles placing 1st, Noe Angeles placing 2nd, and Devin Jagger placing 4th.

Unfortunately half way through the girls meet the skies opened up and canceled their contest.  This will not be made up.

To finish off the night, the 7th and 8th grade football teams traveled to Tri-West.  The 7th grade team was defeated 36 – 0. Johnathan Bautista ran for 65 yards and Rolando Castillo played great defense.

The 8th grade team was defeated 36 – 6.  Doug Wood threw the only Hot Dog touch down to Jayce Strode.  Wood threw for a total of 155 yards on the night.  Aidan Howe and Carlos Lopez played great defensively for the Dogs while Joesph Servin kicked very well on special teams.
