The boys and girls cross country teams had a dominant performance at the Clinton County Championship Meet, with the boys winning for the 3rd year in a row with only 19 points scored and the girls winning back-to-back championships with only 25 points. The boys finished with 5 runners in the top 6 including Hugo Hernandez repeating as individual champion, while the girls finished with 5 girls in the top 8. All-County (top 7 finishers) for the boys include Hernandez 1st, Bautista Ventura 3rd, Longoria-Rocha 4th, Pritchett 5th, and Asensio-Mora 6th. Another top-15 podium finisher was Perez in 9th. All-County for the girls include Alanis 3rd, Dubree 4th, Espidio 6th, and M. Cook 7th. Other top-15 podium finishers were Ochoa De Alda 8th, Hemmersbach 9th, and Perkins 13th. Our next meet will be at our semi-state course at New Prairie High School.
The middle school and elementary schools also competed after the high school races. The middle school boys finished third while the middle school girls finished 1st. The elementary race was unscored. Congrats on a great race to all runners!
