Boys 7th Grade Basketball, Boys 8th Grade Basketball · Pack the Gym at FMS

We had an amazing turnout last night. Thank you to the nearly 80 students and staff who came out to support your Hot Dogs.  Another huge thank you goes out to Mrs. Uitts and her cheerleaders and Mrs. Long and the pep band for their tireless work.

The seventh grade boys started the night with an extremely competitive battle against the Rossville Hornets.  The Dogs fell to Rossville 34 to 26. Johnathan Bautista led all scorers with 14 points while Jordan Goodnight added 10.

The 13 – 1 8th grade defeated the Rossville Hornets 61-37.  Kye Kirby led the attack with 20 points and 3 steals.  Jayce Strode followed with 14 points and 7 rebounds.  Aidan Howe drained 4 – 3 pointers for 12 points on the night. Overall, this was the best shooting night for the boys with a strong defensive attack. The team had a season high 16 steals on the night.

Both teams play at home Thursday night at 6:00 PM when they face off against Tecumseh.
