The Frankfort Middle School boys tennis team traveled to Lebanon last night for their first match of the season.  The boys were defeated, but found out what they need to do to be victorious.  Carter Byrd played outstanding at #1 singles winning his match 8 – 2.  Freddie Garcia and Isai Jiminez fought hard at #2 doubles only falling by a 6 – 8 score.

Cross country hosted Tri-West and North Montgomery for a 3-way meet last night on a very wet course.  The boys team placed 3rd with Christopher Angeles placing first individually.   The girls team tied for second as a team.  Krislyn Shipley placed 6th and Alina Ramirez placed 7th.

The boys and girls soccer team hosted Tecumseh for their season opener last night.  The boys started the night struggling to get the ball into Tecumseh territory.  Angel Madera and Tony Vasquez had outstanding hustle in their 5 – 0 loss.  The girls came out very strong in the rain as they won by a decisive score of 7 – 0.  Amy Marquez scored 4 goals, and Ava Michael scored 2.  A huge shout out to the defense as no goals were shot on the goalie.
