Multiple Teams · FMS Athletics 9/15/20

In a rare game that combined 7th and 8th grade, the Hot Dog football team tied Clinton Central 16-16. Dennis Barkley, Treye Seward, and Danny Jaycox led the 7th graders on defense. Rolando Castillo had 2 touchdown receptions on the night. Alijah Weigand led the team in tackles. Frankfort travels to Western Boone next Tuesday.


The boys tennis team traveled to Northmont last night.  The Dogs had a very big win on the the night.  Jake Swinford won at number one singles 8 – 0.  Jack Michael and Jackson Ray won 8 – 1 at number one doubles while Kelby Santos and Isai Jimenez won at number two double 8 – 1.  The team hosts Tecumseh on Thursday.


The 6th grade girls volleyball team hosted Crawfordsville last night.  The A team won in three sets.  Caroline Queen served 11 aces in a row in set one and 5 in a row in set 3 to seal the victory.  Jasmine Valdez-Mejia and Khloe Kingma had their first aces of the season.  Addi Gephart moved up to A team for the first time and contributed with scoring side out points.  The B team fell to Crawfordsville in 2 sets.  Maria Mandujano had 3 straight aces.  Laikyn Barton had 5 straight aces.  Nevaeh Chapman contributed to side out points for the night.  The 6th grade will host Clinton Prairie on Monday.
