The Lady Hot Dogs started off the season with a big win over Central Catholic on Wednesday evening, 16-2. Starting slow the first inning, the Dogs ended the second inning scoring 12 runs. Makayla Harper picked up the win pitching 5 innings, allowing 2 hits, 2 runs, and striking out 10. Katie Roberts and Zoey Westerman lead the Dogs going 3 for 4 and Heather Massengill and Makayla Harper 2 for 3. Karim Quinones, Sydni Whitaker and Tarah Martinez each had a triple. Autumn Bower and Kylie Wainscott both added one hit. The Dogs are back in action at Lafayette Jeff on Saturday for a double header, playing Clinton Prairie at 1 pm and Lafayette Jeff at 3 pm.
