Lebanon IN – On Saturday the Hot Dog Golfers competed in the “Kent Frandsen- Ulen Invitational” held on the historic Ulen Country Club course. The Dogs were one of seventeen teams including 5 of last week’s top 8 rated golf teams in the state invited to compete. While the Frankfort’s 424 team score was only good enough for 16th place, Senior Golfer, Dakota Bailey accomplished something that many golfers never achieve. On the long 205 yard Par 3, 17th hole he carded a hole in one. This accomplishment appears to be the first time a member of the team has ever scored an ace in completion. Individual scores were Dakota (102), Ramsey Mitchell (104), Reece Mitchell (107) and Mason O’Brien (111). The Dogs 5th player Jesse Reed (114) finished the final 3 holes handicapped by an apparent muscle injury. The invitational winner #4 Zionsville (305) edged #5 Westfield (305) using the 5th players score to break the tie. #1 Guerin Catholic and # 8 Hamilton Southeastern tied at 307. Wednesday May 3rd The Dogs travel to Twin Bridges Course to compete with Lebanon and Danville. A home match with Clinton Central has been added to the schedule to replace the canceled Lafayette Jeff match on Thursday May 6th at approximately 4:15p.m.
