The Frankfort boys basketball team fell tonight in the Greencastle sectional to North Montgomery 46-49. The team got out to a 5-2 lead but struggled to put the ball in the hoop in the first half falling behind 15-28. The team came out and won the third quarter 19-10 putting the team right back in the game. The team had several really good looks near the end of the game that wouldn’t fall. The team was led in scoring by Jade Ayers and Braden Compton with 10. Trey Frazier had 9, Riley Goodnight 7, Cameron Williams 6, and Arod Valdes Sandoval 4.
The team showed tremendous improvement throughout the season, more than doubled last season’s win total, and won their first sectional game in four years. The three seniors of Braden Compton, Cameron Williams, and Trey Frazier will be greatly missed for their leadership, on-court performance, and work ethic.
