The Dogs fell in a rivalry game at Lebanon tonight by the score of 50-38. Frankfort played hard but too many turnovers and a two-point second quarter proved too much to overcome for the Hot Dogs. The team jumped out to an early 11-2 lead and led at the end of the first quarter 16-13. The team struggled to score only two point in the second quarter but defended well enough to only give up 6 and go into the half down one. Lebanon came out knocking down shots in the third quarter scoring 19 giving the Tigers a 10-point cushion. The team got the lead down to six multiple times in the forth but were unable to get any closer.
Last night the JV team defeated Lebanon 41-32. Landen Mejia and Jade Ayers led the team offensively. The team continues to improve playing together and being active defensively each week.
The freshman team defeated Lebanon as well in a big win. The team shared the ball tremendously as nearly everyone contributed in the scoring column. This was the teams most complete win of the season sharing the ball, rallying together to get stops, and working together.
The JV and Varsity return to action at home tomorrow night against the Maconaquah Braves.
