The lady hot dogs traveled to Faith Christian on Tuesday evening to take on the eagles and won 58-23. We were still without Kimberlee Kingma, who is nursing a sore ankle from last week, but Rylee Seibert showed up and had her best output of the season on the offensive end with a career high 34 points. This was a game that the coaching staff stressed to the girls that they need to keep playing and treat every second like a practice, to work on anything and everything moving forward. It was great to see the defensive effort to start the game. The girls played with effort and energy and made a lot of good things happen. All varsity dressed players got quality minutes last night to get comfortable with each other in a game setting and that is sometimes difficult to work on during the middle of two games a week. The coaching staff was happy with the way the game was played on both ends. There is still much more room to work on in reducing turnovers but it was a fun night for the lady hot dogs. We will be back in action with a JV home game at 6pm this Thursday and at Tri-West on Friday at 6pm for the first of four varsity/jv doubleheaders.
