Last night the lady hot dogs used a solid start to the game to lead to a huge victory over Faith Christian by a final of 67-24. Great aggressive play on the defensive end led to turnovers which led to multiple opportunities in the start of the game to jump out to a big lead. Kya King had a season high in steals with 5 for the hot dogs. The combination that has led us this season in points continued with Rylee Seibert scoring 20, Kimee Kingma adding 16 with 11 rebounds, and Emily Micheal finished with 11.
The jv won the first game of the night over Faith Christian by the score of 37-14. Nine out of ten players on the jv roster were able to put points on the board for the hot dogs. A great start to the second half pushed the game out of reach from the eagles.
Next game for the JV will be tomorrow night at Tri-West at 6pm with the JV boys to follow. The next game for the varsity girls team will be at home on Friday at 6pm, with the opening game of the varsity double header.
Record improves to 4-6 (1-0)
