On Wednesday night, the lady hot dogs played Maconaquah and came out victorious with a solid defensive game. Our strategy throughout the game was to limit the Braves’ top scorer, and in the second half, we did just that, holding their leading scorer 7 points under her season average. The offense has continued to play well over the last few games and did not slow down last night. We were able to get to the free throw line 32 times last night and that makes for three games in a row, where we are averaging more free throws than the opponent. We are attacking the basket in a big way and it is starting to show. Rylee Seibert and Kimee Kingma dominated the defense last night. Last night was the first game in a month, where our entire varsity roster was suited up for play. It showed in our depth throughout the game as we were able to wear down the Maconaquah offense in the second half. Senior night will be on Friday night, after our game vs. Crawfordsville. Come out and support our 6 seniors.
The jv game did not go as well and we had the worst shooting game of the season. We lost 25-13 with Jordan Frazier having 5 points. Their last game will be tonight at Crawfordsville. Game time is 6pm.
