The boys basketball team fell at North Montgomery tonight by 11. The team got down early against the Chargers but exploded in the second quarter scoring 28 points and taking a 40-39 lead into the locker room. The team was unable to overcome a North Montgomery run in the second half that led to their win. The team competed well and rebounded the best they have all season. Trey Frazier led the team with 22 points, Riley Goodnight put in 14 off the bench, and Braden Compton scored 11.
The JV team got the win against North Montgomery 53-49. The team had a great first quarter offensively leading 23-13. The team was able to withstand a late Charger run in the second half to seal the win. Deacon Spencer led with 18 points, Conner Boone scored 14, and Sam Michael totaled 11.
Both teams return to action tomorrow night for Homecoming against Hamilton Heights.
