Girls Golf battles the elements vs. Titans

The Girls Golf Team traveled to Kokomo for a dual match with the Taylor Titans at the Chippendale Golf Club. The Lady Hot Dogs played their second match in as many nights in rainy, wet conditions and were able to shoot a 201-team score. Taylor, having only two players, had to compete individually. Girls Golf falls to Raiders

The Harrison Raiders played host to the LHD’s and Delphi Oracles at Coyote Crossing on Wednesday.  The Raiders took team honors scoring 180 on a wet, difficult golf course.  Frankfort was 2ndwith 203 and Delphi was unable to post a team score with only three players. Girls Golf Wins County Championship

Clinton Central played host at the Frankfort Commons Golf Course for this year’s 2nd annual High School County Golf Tournament.  The LHD’s 384 was good enough to repeat as champions in front of a big group of fans from around the county.  Clinton Central took runner up with 407, followed by Rossville 463 and Clinton

Two LHDS Complete Regional Play

The Regional round of the IHSAA State Girls Golf Tournament was played Saturday at the Battle Ground Golf Club in the sweltering mid 90 degree heat.   Junior Katy Benefiel and Freshman Sydney Cesare earned the right to compete after qualifying at last weeks sectional. LHDS Play Sectional at Coyote Crossing

The LHDS traveled to West Lafayette Saturday to play in the Lafayette Sectional tournament at Coyote Crossing Golf Club. Three teams qualified to move on to Regional play next Saturday in Battle Ground. On an absolutely pristine day, Crawfordsville Country Club was the tournament site for this seasons Sagamore Conference Girls Golf Tournament on Saturday. The Lady Hot Dog golf team completed the regular season with a “nail biter” on senior night at McCutcheon. Firing a season best, the LHDS took down the Mavericks 178 to 182. Katy Benefiel led all players, taking her eighth low medalist title of the year with a smooth round of 40. Paige Terry fired

The LHDS played their last home match of the year against Tipton and Clinton Central at the Frankfort Commons on Tuesday night. LHDS Split A Close One

The LHD Golfers played host to Hamilton Heights and conference foe Crawfordsville Athenians at the Frankfort Commons on Thursday. Hamilton Heights walked away with the team title after posting a winning score of 213. The Hot Dogs played well with 224 and Crawfordsville followed closely shooting 231. This was a good match.
